February meeting
Whitley Village Hall Whitley, United KingdomKevin McFarlane from the St Helens and Warrington branch will be talking to us about the work they do with rescued cats and dogs. It is the RSPCA’s centenary year. Kevin is happy to accept donations of cat and dog food or toys etc for the animals in their care if you bring them along to the meeting. Competition: A cute animal - as long as it is inanimate, this can be in any medium!
Whitley WI Birthday

March meeting
Whitley Village Hall Whitley, United KingdomWhat happens at Halton’s Women’s Centre – Take a closer look- Elaine Billington. Donations of toiletries will be most welcome. We are collecting toiletries to pass on to Elaine and have a number of wash bags we can fill with items you might like to donate eg. toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, shower gel etc. Competition: A favourite handbag.

Whitley Village Hall Whitley, United KingdomGrowing Herbs for Health and Well-being – William Woods Competition: A posy of herbs William runs Blackbrook Herb Gardens near Stockport and will be covering topics including culinary, historical and traditional uses of herbs as well as giving propagation and growing advice.

Evening Outing
August evening outing Thursday 8th August visiting Dunham Apple Barn for apple juice and cider tasting followed by evening meal at the Jolly Thresher. Please see Pat with your meal choice and money. We are collecting donations for the local food bank again. So please bring tinned vegetables, soups, long life milk and of course seasonal foodstuffs.
